Idylwild Trail (Boulder)

Not my usual completed and staged home as this home sold two months before completion. The pictures of the empty home do, however, tell the story of a massive remodel! We worked bottom’s up beginning with tearing out the mold-ridden and flood destroyed basement. We poured a new concrete floor, framed in a bedroom, closet and bath. Upstairs was a total gut job. A huge open concept living space was made by removing lots of walls and vaulting the ceiling for more light. We elevated the living room floor matching the elevation of the kitchen and family room. A gas fire place was added in the living room. Of course the kitchen is brand new with a beautiful crushed quartz 4’X 8’ island, Dacor high altitude appliances, and gorgeous tile work. The family room fireplace received a modern tile face lift. The master bath is so beautiful with a subway tile feature wall, floating vanity and dramatic standalone tub. And finally, an outdoor kitchen was built into the back yard. I know the new owners will love their new home for years to come. Many thanks for Tom Precourt of Remax Alliance on Walnut and Doug Elting of Colt Construction for making this first Boulder project such a success.
