Kathy Way (Livermore)

This was a sad little house in Livermore…built in 1963 and not an upgrade since. Our vision was to create a modern masterpiece in suburban Livermore and here is the finished transformation. The wall between family room and living room needed to go. Removing it created a large and functional great room. A dining room that was right off the entrance was converted into a fourth bedroom. The finishes are ultra modern – white Thermofoil cabinets, gray quartz counters and sleek appliances. One of my favorite things is the floor to ceiling tiled fireplace with the black tile accent. This is the perfect home for a small family or a young couple that wants a home with a contemporary vibe! Click here to read a letter from the buyer, Patricia.

Dear Lisa,

Thank you so much for the beautiful house you sold me in Livermore. The space is just right what I had been looking for – an open floor plan, modern and high-end appliances, great quality cabinets, stones, floors and a true master bedroom with a walk-in closet and bathroom. Every house I had seen prior to this one had some elements of what I was looking for but your house was the only one that met my wish list in every single detail. It’s so hard to believe the picture that shows on google maps is what the house used to look like before you so tastefully remodeled it; it was old and screaming for repairs! I love how you combined the space of the formal dining room with the family room and the kitchen. Being one continuous space allows for everyone to be able to see each other but still be able to know what space is what without any walls confining the area. The kitchen cabinets are unique, not the usual and customary boring kind you find in every house. The stone used in the kitchen, chimney and bathrooms goes right along with the high-end look of the house. The marble used in the master bathroom is so beautiful and I love how you accented the shower with that border that connects the color of the vanity to the shower so seamlessly and you placed the same border in the second bathroom and chimney connecting the entire house space with this minor but beautiful detail. I specially love the two huge sliding doors, they let so much natural light in and gives the space the added bonus of being able to look outside the yard from any point in the kitchen, living and dining areas; it makes the space appear bigger than it already is. You paid attention to every single detail to make sure the house was not just like any other house; even the garage has a beautiful window framed by shutters.

I’m so glad I didn’t settle for second best. My family, friends and coworkers comment on how beautiful the house is and how other houses in the same price range do not even compare; my house blows them all out of the water!Additionally, the house is located in a safe community where I am not afraid to walk around the neighborhood by myself. I’m also grateful for the quick and efficient process we had in getting into contract; so happy to be able to move in less than 30 days from start to finish. I am looking forward to many years of happiness in my new home.
